The Chicest Halloween 2022 Makeup

The Chicest Halloween 2022 Makeup

It’s almost Halloween again and one of my personal favorite seasons! Usually it’s right about this time that I start panicking, trying to figure out what I am going to go as for Halloween. I’ve noticed an interesting trend this year – rather than going with a specific costume, I see some girls dressing normal and then doing some beautiful makeup designs. So I might try that myself this year – it’s much easier as most of this makeup is already makeup we all already have, and I don’t have to go scavenger hunting for pieces for a costume. Check out these five gorgeous and chic makeup designs for Halloween this year.

Spider Web Eyes

This design is SO cool looking, and it’s really so easy to do. You can practice a few times before the big night to make sure you nail it. All you need is waterproof eye liner and an orange eyeshadow (although, you can really use any shade of eyeshadow that you want). Simply trace the spider web under your eye. If you happen to make an error, just use a q-tip to erase it! Check out this great tutorial from Beauty Bay.

Devil Eyes

This gorgeous look is done using a mix of red and white eyeshadow with red eyeliner (or you can use lipstick). You’ll want to blend the red and white eyeshadows together starting on your eyelid and you’ll make it more red as you get to just below you’re eyebrow. Then, carefully draw on your little horns above your eyebrow and the tail below your eye. Make it really pop with some false lashes.

Butterly Eyes

This one is so cute! You can go either hardcore on this style, or a little more relaxed (as seen in the picture). This design uses a classic brown for the butterfly color, but you can use any color you want. You’ll need black waterproof eyeliner, white waterproof eyeliner, and eyeshadow for the butterfly coloring. Start by carefully doing the outline of the butterfly. Once that’s done, start to fill in the spaces with the colored eyeshadow. Then add your white dots, and finish off by going over the black lines one more time!

Euphoria Eyes

I’m sure the minute you saw the title for this style, you knew exactly what it would look like. The television show Euphoria blew up in popularity, which is why it’s no surprise that this Halloween it’s such a popular makeup idea. You can get this look using any kind of neon or pastel eyeshadow you want. You’ll need about three different shades of that color, ranging from light with shimmer, medium, and then darker. The girl in this image is wearing a lavender. You can see she starts out with light shimmer lavender around the inner corners of her eyes, then towards the outer part of her eye, she goes a bit darker, then finishes off with a more medium lavender/pink on the outer corners. You can either use a metallic eyeliner to color in some metallic stars and dots, or use small stickers!

Neon Eyes

This look reminds me immediately of the 80s! You can get this look using four different shades of eyeshadow. Choose your favorite four neon shades and start with the lightest on the inner corner of your eye. The next color will go over your entire eyelid and will come out to the point just below the end of your eyebrow. You’ll then choose another lighter neon color and fill in between your eyebrow and the color that covers your eyelids. Then, trace your entire eye with waterproof, black eyeliner. Add some false lashes to top it off and you are set!
